PlayPart is seeking a Junior Mobile Engineer to join the R&D team in support of the development and improvement of the PlayPart mobile application. If you’re creative, driven by creating a real positive impact in the world and have fun in the process, we want to meet you. As a Mobile Engineer you’ll be an integral part of the creative mobile team at PlayPart and will help us develop new features that take advantage of the latest trends in the iOS ecosystem. The ideal candidate is proficient in Swift, able to clearly communicate with other developers and non-technical teammates, and strives to constantly improve.
Summary Of Main Responsibilities
• Mobile Engineering: Directly work on the implementation and development of our native iOS mobile application. Work on bugs, documentation, tests, and more in order to unblock the team and increase their performance.
• Collaborate: Work closely with other teams to identify and meet their needs in a collaborative, agile environment.
• Take part in the full lifecycle of development of IOS applications using Swift and Objective-C.
• Ability to work cross-functionally while maintaining focus on R&D. • Oversee the technical side of app development in all phases and support global expansion strategies.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology standards, industry trends, emerging technologies and software development best practice and apply as appropriate.

Desired skills and mind-sets
• Mobile application development experience or skills.
• Knowledge of at least one or more programming languages : HTML5, Objective-C, Swift, C++, C#, React and Java.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure Amazon Web Services preferred.
• Interest in sports and technologies or sustainability and environment.
